Local dinner with excellent food that seems to be a local favorite, as well. We had our breakfast in front of us just 15 minutes after entering the restaurant! Our kids enjoyed their French toast and pancakes, and we split the "Vermonter" omlette, which was excellent. The sausage links were deep-fried and delicious. Our waitress was on top of her game and moving a mile a minute. Wish we were staying in the area longer to enjoy more of their menu! On a side note, I absolutely love that the option to replace the cheap syrup with Vermont maple syrup is simply referred to as "Did you want real syrup with that?"

We got the Buffalo tenders and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The Buffalo tenders were so crunchy and good! For lunch we got the turkey dinner with fries, Anthony club burger, a burger melt and the woodsman burger. Everything was enjoyed, plates were scraped clean. We will definitely come back next time we are in this area.

I wish I'd had room to try the pie because it looked amazing. The chicken sandwich and fries I had were tasty. The diner has a small town vibe we enjoyed.

Visiting with family during the towns annual Maple Festival, we stopped in after seeing the dinner from the road. After a short wait we were promptly seated and looked over the menu for lunch. Great selection of food that tasted good and our server was friendly. Would definitely stip back again.

Darn good breakfast. The food is made from scratch (at least it tastes like it is). The quality of the food is superior to other notable diners affiliated with late night brawls and hurricane severity. The price is also competitive with the non-made from scratch diners. Also: coffee was legitimately good. It wasn’t sitting in a coffeepot on a burner for 45 minutes before it was served to me. It was fresh and delicious. 100% would return again and would recommend to friends and family.

Came here for a traditional diner experience and was not disappointed. We came in not long before closing but the staff were very nice and friendly. Good burger, good coffee. Not badly priced either.

The Woodsman is now my favorite burger in VT. It achieves the perfect balance between smash burger and regular burger. The bun was just right. The toppings were not overwhelming. Still dreaming of that first bite! Local ingredients to boot.

Good local fare. Service very good. We wanted breakfast and stopped at 11.20 and they have a hard stop at 11am. So we had lunch! Food was as younwould expect. Great fries!
